Just recently Jake found his toes and his voice. Most of the time he is hanging on to his toes just staring at them. I think babies are so amazing...... one day he had no idea his toes existed and the next day he is studying them so intently. He loves to scream lately. It seems like overnight he went from saying coo, goo and gee to full out screams. He must think "the louder, the better!" (Probably trying to compete with his big sister and a barking dog!)
This little guy rolled over once when he was 2 months old and hasn't since but already is trying to sit up and stand up. He is very strong and I like to think- it's not that he can't roll over.... it's that he chooses not to roll over. Oh my, I hope this doesn't mean another stubborn person in the house..... not naming any names... Mike, Mary Grace!
Before I had Jake I thought, how hard it will be to love a child as much as I love Mary Grace. But I know now that when you have more than one child, God allows your heart to grow. Now, I can't imagine life without Jake. I am so blessed and thankful Jake is apart of our family and can't wait to see what this amazing, warm little baby does over the next few months!
