We just had the All-Star break, in other words, 3 consecutive days off for Mike. It was wonderful because these were Mike's first days off since Jake was born. We spent a ton of family time together and Mike and I had our first date since our anniversary in January. Here is a quick run down of our All-Star break.
Sunday after the game we tailgated with our friends and Sanches, Speigners and Mocks. The babies hanging out in the bed of the truck, country music on the stereo and the smell of steak on the grill made me feel like we were back home in Texas.

Monday we went to a water park. Mary Grace had a blast! She even did a few of the "big girl slides." Jake was a very good baby and hung out watching us all. He did have his first trip on the lazy river and loved it. When we got home that night we were exhausted- we ate dinner in our jammies then camped out on the couch watching food network (our new favorite channel- Mike gets cooking ideas, family friendly, and yummy!)

Tuesday we went to see the new Disney movie Wall-E. It was awesome! Mary Grace asked a million questions during the movie but we loved it! She is so inquisitive at this age and the questions she asked are often very thought provoking. That night Mike and I went out to dinner. We sat on a patio, ate dinner and just talked. It was an amazing night!
Wednesday we had the kids pictures taken together, we baked a cake, we played outside and then went to dinner with friends. Coming home from dinner MG was in the backseat just talking away. The last thing she said right before we got home was "Ahhhhhh man, All-Star Break is over!!!!" And that is how we all felt!
