June update

MG, Jake and I just got back from a month long visit back home! It was wonderful but we missed Mike like the dickens so we are glad to be back in Ohio with him.
Jake is doing great- he is a wonderful baby! He smiles all the time and rolled over for the first time a few days ago. He hasn't done it since but I am going to still count it. He recently had his 2 month check up and he was 50% for weight and 25% for length and head circ. He was not a happy camper after his shots (5 total :(, and one oral vaccine). But he was back to his sweet natured, happy self the next day.
Mary Grace is a sweet girl and is growing and changing everyday. She had some swim lessons back home in Texas and Mike and I are working with her everyday at the pool. She can doggy paddle for a few seconds before she freaks out which is a little progress and she doesn't mind going under water. She loves going to the baseball games and loves her Daddy!!!! She can write her own name if we tell her which letters to write (so smart!)
Mike is doing well and enjoying playing this year. He really likes his teammates. It seems like a good group of guys. When we have days off and day games we all get together for cookouts and Mike loves hanging out with the guys in the bullpen.
I am just loving being with the kids and Mike. I start back to work in September so I have a few more months to just be a mommy and wife. I officially started running this week (only a few blocks) but it is a start. I am going to try to do a 1/2 marathon this December.
